The Itinerary
Day 1
Nashik to Vani to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Morning: Drive from Nashik to Shree Saptashrungi Nivasini Devi Shaktipeeth near Vani (65 km, ~1.5 hours). This is considered the Half (Ardh) Peetha. Use the ropeway or steps to reach the hilltop temple for Darshan.
Afternoon: Drive toward Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (approx. 200 km, ~4.5 hours). You can stop en route to visit the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple.
Night Stay: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Day 2
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Mahurgad (via Nanded)
Morning: Depart early for Shri Renuka Mata Shaktipith in Mahurgad (approx. 330 km, ~6.5 hours).
Afternoon: Reach Mahur, which is perched on a scenic hill and is revered as the birthplace of Lord Dattatreya. Complete your Darshan of the first Full Shakti Peetha.
Night Stay: Mahurgad or Nanded city (130 km away) for better hotel options.
Day 3
Mahurgad / Nanded to Tuljapur
Morning: Drive from Nanded/Mahur to Shri Tulja Bhavani Temple in Tuljapur (approx. 320 km, ~6.5 hours).
Afternoon/Evening: Reach Tuljapur, the second Full Shakti Peetha and the historic family deity (Kuldevi) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Attend the evening aarti if time permits.
Night Stay: Tuljapur or nearby Solapur city (45 km away).
Day 4
Tuljapur to Kolhapur
Morning: Drive from Tuljapur/Solapur to Kolhapur (approx. 300 km, ~6 hours).
Evening: Arrive at Shree Ambabai Temple (Mahalaxmi Temple) in Kolhapur, the third Full Shakti Peetha. Experience the grand evening architectural structure and divine Darshan.
Night Stay: Kolhapur.
Day 5
Kolhapur to Nashik (Return Journey)
Morning: Optional early morning foot-touching Darshan or visit to the nearby Bhavani Mandap and Rankala Lake.
Afternoon: Start the long return drive back to Nashik via Pune or the Sangamner route (approx. 450 km, ~9 to 10 hours).
Night: Reach Nashik late evening to conclude your yatra.
